Masterclass Guidelines
Public performances of students (Level 4 or higher) presenting any piece in a lesson setting presided by a guest Master teacher. Each student will be given approximately 20 minutes but subject to change. The rotation for the instruments are as followed: Voice & Wind - 2024-2025, Piano & Strings - 2025-2026.

- Guest Masterclass teacher will select five to six best-qualified student to perform in the Masterclass. Program decision will be based on his/her repertoire choice for the program and the students' background. Guest Masterclass teacher will select five to six best-qualified student to perform in the Masterclass. - Those students who are selected to participate in the Masterclass will be informed by the Chair. For those students who are not selected, their $75.00 application fee will be returned to them
- The Masterclass is open to the public with free admission.
- Only one piece or movement is allowed for each student. All music must be memorized.
- All performers must provide their own accompanist of the Masterclass. (Strings only.)
- All performers must provide an original score of his or her repertoire for the guest Master teacher.
- All performers are required to be in proper concert attire.
- Piece/movement may last up to 10 minutes of the Masterclass.
